About Meghan Crutchley (they/them)

Meghan Crutchley, M.Ed., NBH-WC, CPT, PN2, is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness coach, speaker, writer, and the CEO of Habitqueer, a company founded to provide solution- focused health coaching to queer professionals. Integrating their expertise in nutrition, sleep, stress and recovery, fitness, and behavior change, Meghan helps queer leaders in their industry build personal and professional growth capacity one habit at a time.

Meghan’s work as a coach and entrepreneur spans almost a decade, and seeing the specific needs of the queer professional community, they launched Habitqueer in October of 2022, and decided to work exclusively with queer individuals and groups in their private coaching practice, as a response to the open repression of queer rights around the world and continued discrimination in health and fitness spaces in the U.S.

Meghan is an accomplished speaker and educator, with a masters degree in education and international teaching experience. Their workshops and speaking topics focus on issues like nervous system health and queer perfectionism, how stress and recovery behaviors affect our sleep, and how queer people already have the most valuable skill needed to create positive lifestyle changes. Meghan is the health columnist for CT. Voice Magazine, and has worked with major organizations such as GLAAD, Precision Nutrition, and Synchrony Financial.

They created the first certification of its kind for professional coaches and trainers on working with gender-diverse clients called: Fitness Beyond the Binary, a groundbreaking work that amplifies the voices of trans/ queer academics, elite athletes, athletic coaches, and educators with the mission of making health and fitness spaces more inclusive for all LGBTQ+ people.

Meghan currently resides in Stamford, CT. and enjoys traveling, tacos, bikes, and reading.
